ACTIVITIES
Collaboration with other scientific societies is one of the key factors in carrying out the objectives of FERCC. The important organizations include the Earthwatch Institute India (EWI), International Forum of Meteorological Societies (IFMS), Indian Meteorological Society (IMS) along with some of its Local Chapters and the South Asian Meteorological Association (SAMA). FERCC in collaboration with other scientific organizations have been organising important interactive events such as symposia, workshop, international days held in different parts of India to make teachers and students climate literate. Further, young researchers are encouraged for high quality research through several awards.
