IMS-FERCC Awards for the best Poster Presentation
The Indian Meteorological Society (IMS) organizes its annual Symposium named TROPMET at its different local chapters. Every four years, the TROPMET is held at the international level which is called INTROMET. This is considered as one of the flagship events of IMS where in addition to several important scientists, a large number of students share their research work in the form of oral and poster presentations. In order to encourage PhD students for poster presentations, FERCC approached IMS to institute IMS-FERCC awards for the best posters under different themes. Awards are decided by a committee of experts constituted by IMS. Each IMS-FERCC Award consists of a certificate of merit and a cash prize of Rs.5000/- each to be funded by FERCC.
